A little history & more…
Our Asturian restaurant, our history, our people …
Let’s introduce ourselves…
The Furacu Asturian Restaurant opened on April 13, 1987 in Barcelona. In the ceremony, with pipers included, many Asturian lovers of good gastronomy who came to Barcelona to work and some of our future clients (who are now habitual), mostly Catalan customers who worked or lived in the dreta de l’Eixample of Barcelona, participated .
Being an asturian restaurant run by a family and thanks to the character our customers who welcomed our gastronomic style, there has always been a very casual and friendly atmosphere.
Our personal seal…
Typical Asturian cuisine has always been based on authenticity, the time between stoves and the quality of the product that comes mostly from Asturias.
The first truckload full of premium cider boxes that left for Barcelona was for El Furacu Cider House.
“Our cuisine fuses traditional Asturian cuisine in Barcelona with the top quality ingredients that we use in each of our dishes.”
33 years later, after our last renovation but with the same service philosophy, we continue with the idea of providing Barcelona with the best of Asturian cuisine in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere, always under the premise of exceptional yet friendly service.
